Cape Bernier Vineyard is a family owned winery situated at Bream Creek on Tasmania's south east coast overlooking historic Marion Bay - an ideal location for producing their award winning cool climate Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris wines.
They have been rated a five star winery by James Halliday in his 2010 Australian Wine Companion.
The northern end of Marion Bay is Cape Bernier (locally known as Hellfire Bluff) and is named after Pierre Francoise Bernier, an astronomer with the Baudin expedition. Cape Bernier Vineyard takes its name from this landmark and in doing so honours those brave explorers who came before us in pursuit of scientific discovery, new lands and ultimately a new way of life.
