Gran Cuvee is born from a special selection of grapes from the 20 crus, to fully represent the terroir vocation. An eclectic and fresh Franciacorta, it's a satisfying wine, which explodes in all its amazing splendor.
Bouquet: A fragrant and intense Franciacorta, with notes of freshly baked bread, white flowers (hawthorn, basswood) pineapple and white peach.
Palate: A fresh and silky wine with an aftertaste reminiscent of the sensations perceived to the nose
Food pairing: It is a seductive aperitif and can be served at all meals, with delicate shellfish dishes or shrimp; with swordfish or crustaceans.
Variety: Chardonnay (80%) and Pinot Noir (20%).
Region: Franciacorta - Coccaglio
Maturation: The base wines, after the first fermentation in steel and wood, age for about 8 months at controlled temperature until the preparation of the cuvee, which is made with a blend of wines aged in steel and barrel (about 10 %). After the second fermentation in bottle, Gran Cuvee ages for at least 30 months before disgorging and refines for a few other months in bottle.
