Description
Elgee Park, the oldest vineyard on the Mornington Peninsula, was originally the country retreat of Baillieu & Sarah Myer and their children. In 1972 the first vines wereplanted on the property. Small parcels of grapes, cool nights and warm summers, produce wines of great finesse, depth and balance.

Tasting note
Colour: Crimson
Bouquet: Aromas of cassis, plum, tobacco and a touch of dark chocolate.
Palate: The palate shows ripe cool climate flavours of blackcurrant, cocoa & red plum. The cabernet gives length of flavour, whilst the merlot fills the mid palate.
Food Pairing: Merricks Burger: angus grass feed beef, caramelised onion, tomato, cheese, lettuce & house made chutney
